Summer is finally over! With the weather cooling off, there are so many ways to enjoy this weekend. From live music, parades, rodeos, 5K’s and festivals there is no shortage of entertainment in the neighborhood. There is a little something for everyone and several events that are easy on the pocketbook! Autumn, we are so glad you’ve arrived.
Friday, September 26:
26th Annual Bobby Norris Round Up for Autism
Bring the whole family out to the Stockyards to support a great cause, with a parade kicking things off at 6pm followed by an awesome Celebrity Rodeo at 8pm!
Studio Five 90 – Masquerade
Find fresh new ways of looking at art in this free class, open to both adults and teens! Be sure to arrive at least an hour early to sign up, the class is limited to 25 attendees. 5:00–6:30 PM
Live Music at Central Market – Blue Hat
Stop by and enjoy some eats, drinks and live music on the patio with Blue Hat as they perform some favorite pop, rock and funk covers.
Saturday, September 27:
Log Cabin Village-Day in the District
The kids are bound to love a day filled with music, storytellers and history. Best of all: admission is free!
Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinic
Bring the kids by Lowe’s on Saturday morning at 10am for a free class where they will build their own toy fire trucks!
Rahr Oktoberfest 5K
Support a great cause and have a fantastic day with a 5K, live music, a bier garden and lots of delicious Bavarian treats!
Live Music at Central Market—Meltdown
If you can’t make it on Friday evening, you can still catch some awesome rock and pop covers on the patio starting at 5:30pm.
