Dog-friendly Drive-ins, Dives and Digs

We always complain about having that sad pair of hungry eyes fixed on us while we eat, but dog owners still want the company of their best friend whenever possible.

Luckily, there are plenty of dog-friendly bars, restaurants and cafés in Fort Worth, Texas. Bring your four-legged friend and others out for a delicious treat at these great local hot spots!

Woodshed Smokehouse (http://woodshedsmokehouse.com/) has a dog-friendly outdoor area, and even has a doggy menu. A walk along the Trinity River after dinner can help your pup burn off that extra energy, too.

Rodeo Goat (http://www.rodeogoat.com/fort-worth/) is rated one of the dog-friendliest places in Ft. Worth, tucked in the cultural district with dogs welcome on the patio every day of the year. Chow down and chill out with your fur ball.

Chadra Meza & Grill (http://www.chadramezza.com/) has an every-Wednesday event called “Pooches on the Patio.” From 4-10pm, you and your pup can come to chill, eat and drink together.

Sonic is happy to serve you and your pup in your car, giving you a fast and fun place to grab a bite with the boo. Out on East Lancaster Ave. in Ft. Worth, this is a quick and tasty way to get everyone fed.

Mash’d (http://www.mashd.com/) is another tasty place where pups are always welcome at outdoor tables. If you can handle the moonshine while keeping your dog from stealing off your plate, this is a great place to refuel and relax.

Cane Rosso (http://www.canerosso.com/) might as well be Canine Rosso with their outdoor seating open to dogs. This is a pizza place made for man’s best friend.

Another doggy-friendly patio can be found at RJ Gator’s (http://rjgatorsfw.com/), a familiar neighborhood grill with…well, less-than-familiar dishes! Try something new and share with Fido, too.
